60 Stories for 60 Years – #46
I lost my husband of 52 years in February. I am in the process of selling our home and have moved to a very small apartment. This has all been very hard. One of the bright spots was changing a checking account to Cornerstone. I’m one of the people who goes around saying let’s go back to the ’50’s. Walking into Cornerstone was like going back there. The technology was in place, of course, but the feel was small town welcome. Doing business with people who let you know they are glad you are there is a pleasure that I don’t think we encounter often enough these days. This may sound small but it is amazing how much difference it can make to someone’s day. I look forward to banking with Cornerstone for a long time. Thank you for taking the time to look at me and smile.
