60 Stories for 60 Years – #28

It was 1988 and I was so distracted by the ending of my 27 year marriage that I was totally unprepared for the trauma of being suddenly single. I had never even had credit in my name. The wonderful people in the mortgage department at Educators’ Credit Union, now Cornerstone, guided me through the process of buying a condo and reassured me every step of the way. I will always remember their kindness.
