60 Stories for 60 Years- #4

When I was four my parents set up my savings account at the Rivergate branch and ever since I have been banking with Cornerstone – I am now 43. My earliest memory of banking I was 5 and had a toy I wanted to buy so went to the credit union and withdrew $11 from my savings and duly recorded it in my savings book. I remember the teller – who may have been Debbie who now works at the downtown branch – asked if I wanted it in all ones and I said yes because it made it look like I had a LOT of money. And those blue yard sticks you all would give out for free to members. We always had one in our house.
