60 Stories for 60 Years – #23

Cornerstone/Educators Credit Union has been my only bank for about 40 years.  I began teaching and opened accounts for my husband and myself.  We moved to Williamson County and the Franklin office became “our branch”. I always tell everyone they always treat us fairly and know us and our children by name!  Jean, Robbie, Mary, Bert and others throughout the years just didn’t do my transactions, but asked about my life/my family.  I even saw Jean the other day at a garage sale and we “caught up” since we hadn’t seen each other for years since she retired.  We’ve had car loans, mortgages, CD’s, and our checking and savings with Cornerstone and would not think of going anywhere else. I’ve read that some banks are charging customers who come in to do transactions with the tellers; Cornerstone has the convenience of drive through service and ATM’s, but they excel in customer service and making friends with their customers.  I have never been and will never be just an account number with Cornerstone Financial Credit Union; they know my account number, but realize that account is associated with a person…ME… and treat me with dignity and respect as a valued CFCU customer!
