I believe the most important thing I can do for myself to start off on the right foot, financially, when I graduate will be to keep track of all of my finances that come in and out of my account. I will be working on campus while in college, so I need to learn to budget wisely and monitor my spending habits. I plan to budget a portion, or all, of my income from my campus job towards my annual tuition. I am also striving to acquire as much scholarship money as possible to avoid student-loan debt upon graduating college. I have worked hard to keep up my GPA throughout high school, and, by doing that, I have developed a strong work ethic and consistent study habits that will help me to maintain a grade-point-average that will allow me to keep any scholarship money intact.
