Take advantage of financial aid options
I think the most important thing I can do while I am in college to ensure that I start off on the right foot financially when I graduate is to continue to apply for more and more financial aid such as scholarships, grants, work study, and other options. By doing so, I will not have to take out loans in order to pay for my college education. I have obtained much financial aid from need based and also merit based. I have always wanted to have college payed for without taking any type of loan and I am close to this goal. By having college paid for and not immediately going into debt after graduation I will be more financially stable as I start my future career and will not have to worry about paying anyone back thousands of dollars. I will be able to use the money I earn from working to even further stabilizing my life by providing, on my own, a place for me to live, food for my nourishment, and be able to pay for all of the necessities that I will need as I truly enter the world on my own.
